MiB Mentoring program 2024
MiB’s first nationwide mentoring program for members was launched in 2021, and the fourth edition starts in spring 2024!
This year, we will dive deep into the theme of Developing your own skills. The mentoring programme will kick off in April, after the pairing of actor and mentor pairs, with a joint meeting where we will go through the objectives of mentoring and you will be equipped with tools to ensure the benefits of the mentoring programme.
The theme of 2024 will be strongly reflected in the joint meetings throughout the year's programme; we will address topics such as continuous learning, artificial intelligence in working life, and empathetic leadership.
Even geographical boundaries are not an obstacle - you can participate remotely from all over Finland and even if you live abroad. Welcome along to develop your own skills and network with the great MiB community.
The mentoring program is also international: we offer content in both Finnish and English. In addition, as much as possible, we try integrate our Swedish-speaking members into the actor-mentor pairs.
The application period for the 2024 program is 22.1.–18.2.2024. Actors must be members of MiB, but people outside MiB can also apply as mentors. If you are not yet a member of MiB, you can easily join our wonderful network here!

Carefully selected mentoring pairs - By carefully matching actor and mentor pairs, we ensure that goals, timelines and areas of expertise support your development. This year, we will also be using artificial intelligence to help us to match pairs!
Support on your journey - You will have access to tools to help you create a successful mentoring relationship. We'll be with you all year to make sure your mentoring journey is a success.
What do others say?
The 2023 programme was a success! More than 100 actor-mentor pairs started their journey and 77% of feedback survey respondents rated the programme as good or excellent. Participants praised in particular the confidential discussions and the sparring they received. Finding time to meet and prepare was seen as a challenge. Lessons have been drawn from the feedback received to further improve the programme this year.
