The government's proposal for a new family leave model has been approved by Parliament today. Mothers in Business praises the model's flexibility in reconciling family leave and work, as well as the strong message of equality of the so-called 7 + 7 model. The question remains, however, whether the model is able to reach the objective of a more equal division of family leave between the parents.
