Recent changes in the active work
On this page, we have shared news about the change when STEA funded MiB International project came to end in August 2024.
As the International project closed up, we transitioned all the English actives to the local chapters.
We invite all of you to join the multilingual group of mothers in local chapters and continue making English activities to mothers in Finland with us.

What will English activities look like in the future?
As a MiB active, you have a great deal to say about what the activities look like. Actives will put together the activities according to their interest - career, family & work, area of expertise - you name it.
In a group of multilingual volunteers, you will get to network with other professionals and share your skills and ideas with other moms. This is what MiB is all about.
Majority of the activities organized by actives are targeted for MiB members. However, you don’t have to be a MiB member to volunteer or access the events that you are putting together yourself.
As a MiB member, you have access to all activities and you can support MiB’s advocacy work for gender equality in work life. Join us to make our community stronger!
